Pulse59 is built on the principle that your health and performance data is yours. We collect only what we need to power your experience and never sell your personal information to third parties.
Pulse59 is a mobile application that helps golfers understand how their physical health and mental readiness affect their performance on the course. The app is operated by Pulse59 ("we," "us," or "our"). For questions about this policy, contact us at hello@pulse59.golf.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed version of your password. We do not store your password in plain text.
Golf performance data. We collect the round data you log manually in the app, including scores, hole-by-hole results, fairways hit, greens in regulation, putts, scrambling, course name, tee time, and date.
Health data you connect. Depending on your onboarding choice, we collect data from one of the following sources:
Survey responses. Before and after rounds, we collect optional self-assessments on focus, composure, swing confidence, energy, warmup quality, and fatigue. These feed your personalized Golf Readiness Score (GRS) and are never shared externally.
Device and usage data. We collect basic technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, and error logs to maintain app stability. We do not use advertising identifiers or track your behavior across other apps or websites.

We do not use your data to train machine learning models for third parties, serve targeted advertising, or build profiles for sale.
Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon. All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms before storage. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently remove your personal information within 30 days.

Pulse59 handles health-related data (sleep, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, respiratory rate) with extra care. This data is used only to compute your personalized GRS and performance insights within the app. It is never sold, shared with insurers, employers, or advertisers, or used for any purpose beyond delivering the Pulse59 experience to you.
Pulse59 is not a medical app. The insights we provide are for informational and performance purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice.
